Overview:  The PDL3200 has 8 analog inputs, 8 digital inputs and four special function pins located on two detachable terminal blocks.  The 32K non-volatile memory can be partitioned for single or multiple acquisitions.  Input Configuration Cards automatically condition the analog inputs for a wide variety of signal types.

Inputs can be sampled at rates up to1000 Hz or as slow as 8 hours.  Samples can also be taken asynchronously by using Clock In.

Power for the main unit is a 9V battery or AC wall adapter.

Versatile:  Once programmed, the PDL3200 may be disconnected and operated independent of the PC. Simple controls allow the user to verify unit status, start acquisitions, stop acquisitions, clear memory or secure data.

Upon uploading, data is automatically converted to the proper units and displayed in spreadsheet or graph form. Data can be easily shared with other applications via the system clipboard.

While connected to the PC, the PDL3200 also features a real time PC Recorder and Multi-Meter.

Special:  The four special function pins include Clock In, Clock Out, +5V DC and +15V DC pin. The Clock In and Out pins are software configurable to facilitate synchronization with the device under test or other data loggers.

The Clock In pin also allows for asynchronous triggering, sampling and event time storage on rising or falling edges.  The Clock Out pin can be configured as active high or active low for the Trigger Event, Each Sample or Acquisition Complete.

The +5V and +15V supplies may be used to power other devices including current transducers.
